Anna Efron (1905 – 1983) was the daughter of Morris and Ida Surasky Efron. Anna was a nurse at the Aiken County hospital where among other responsibilities she taught Nurses Aides classes, including for African Americans. She also had a women’s clothing store on Laurens St in part of the current location of Plum Pudding. And, she had properties that she rented, including apartments on Laurens St above the current location of Cindi’s Sweet Shop & The Whitney
