After 1921, HC Surasky split his business from Sol & Sam Surasky. HC initially ran his business as Surasky Brothers but subsequently changed the name to HC Surasky. During this period, there were three Surasky stores in Aiken: BM Surasky, Sol & Sam Surasky and HC Surasky. HC ran his store until his death in 1932 after which the store was re-opened by his son-in-law Nathen Persky and renamed Persky's
