After 1921, Sol & Sam Surasky opened a store together in their name – making it three Surasky stores in Aiken: BM Surasky’s (run by BM), Surasky Brothers (run by HC) & Surasky Department Store (run by Sol & Sam Surasky). Sam moved to Marion NC in 1929 to open his own store and subsequently the store in Aiken was run by Sol Surasky until his death in 1941; and then by his son Harry Surasky for several years thereafter
