Samuel Wolf (1914-1981) and his brother Abe Wolf (1916-1988) were sons of Jacob & Julia Wolf. They opened a liquor store at the corner of Richland Ave & Newberry St in 1945. Fred Astaire was said to be a customer. A City Council meeting in May 1948 approved dividing and subletting a portion of this retail space to create a ticket office and waiting room for Greyhound Bus Lines, with Samuel Wolf as ticket agent. The bus station was later moved to Richland Ave West in 1955. The store appears to have closed in 1957 when the business was advertised for sale.
